Understanding the unique situation every patient is in

PTL Behavioral Health offers individual and group counseling on substance abuse, mental illnesses, or co-occurring disorders. We have a team that believes substance abuse treatment should center on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). We work with our residents to understand their thinking power and how it affects their overall feelings and behaviors. The effect of positive thinking and connections with others is the core of our counseling. We believe experience is a good teacher. Therefore, we sometimes depend on those who have been there and overcome their addictions. This makes peer support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) a vital component of our counseling services.
